Hello,

My name is Suesan and I work for Policy Horizons Canada. I wanted to let you know about a conference we’re hosting that FEN will undoubtedly be interested in. It’s called Futures Week, and it’s the third year we are holding it, however the first time we are opening it up to a broader global and multi-sectorial audience beyond the Canadian federal public service.

Futures Week is a free annual virtual conference and organised by Policy Horizons Canada, a Government of Canada organization, that allows participants to explore the future. Attendees are invited to examine emerging issues, the opportunities and challenges we might face, and how foresight can drive transformation.

Futures Week 2023 is taking place May 16-18, 2023, and looks forward to welcoming its broadest audience ever of foresight practitioners, public servants from Canada and around the world, and anyone interested in future-focused topics, dialogue, and insight. 

Take part in sessions that explore topics such as disruptions on the horizon, existential risks, the future of space, geotechnomics, basic needs at risk, and much more.

We hope that you will share news of this event with FEN, here is the registration link. 

The event is free and simultaneous interpretation (French/English), captioning, and sign language will be available for all sessions.
